The 1st workshop on laser physics and its applications, sponsored by the Arab Physics Society (ArPs) and the Laser Research and Applications Institute (LIRA), Beni Suef University, will take place from February 1–3, 2025. By performing some practical experiments on the fundamentals of lasers and their applications in various fields, learning from the positive and negative experimental results, and comprehending and interpreting their results, the workshop seeks to improve the knowledge and learning levels of final-year students and postgraduate students interested in studying laser physics and its applications.

The program is intended for undergraduate (last year) and postgraduate students who have compleated introductory laser physics courses and are interested in pursuing advanced topics in laser physics.
