The Nuclear and Plasma Physics group is engaged in exploring some of the most dynamic and
impactful areas of physics, centering on the nuanced interplay of nuclear reactions and plasma
dynamics. Our group embraces the multifaceted nature of nuclear and plasma physics, encompassing
both theoretical and applied research domains.
Our study subjects span a wide range of topics, including nuclear fusion and fission, plasma
confinement, nuclear medicine, radiation safety, nuclear materials science, thermonuclear Astro
plasma physics, and high-energy density physics. These areas are vital for understanding the
fundamental aspects of nuclear reactions and plasma behavior, as well as for the advancement of
practical applications like energy production, medical technologies, and environmental
protection.
In alignment with the Arab Physical Society's vision, our group aims to be a central hub in the
Arab region for advancing nuclear and plasma physics through various initiatives:
Fostering Scientific Collaboration: We aim to create opportunities for
